The feature was not enabled by default, allowing users to ease into and Google to do some more testing, but Instant Search will start becoming the default for all Toolbar users soon. A couple of months ago, Google released the latest version of its Toolbar for Internet Explorer which introduced built-in Instant Search, enabling users to get results as soon as they start typing in the search box.
